Description

« Abstract N3 » by Stella Polare by Stella Polare Artiste

This collection was born from the artist’s experience working in pediatric oncology. These little patients are deeply aware of death and they are the ones who taught Stella Polare to value every moment of their life. Even the smallest moment of pain relief for sick children means joy. They use everything they have: their energy, their time, to live as fully as possible. This experience completely changed Khulkar’s profession at the time to that of an artist, and later gave birth to a series of abstracts in oil on canvas entitled « The Emergency of Joy Series ». The artist says that to feel alive, joyful, some people jump from a parachute, some preserve daily life as a couple, like a woman who loses her partner. Each person or creature applies this necessary urgency of joy in their own way and conscience. Over time, the “Joy Urgency” collection has also become that of artistic scarves that can be worn.
