Description

Silk scarf “Dream” by Stella Polare Artiste in Paris.

This dream silk scarf transforms a personal story into a wearable landscape of imagination — where the surreal becomes tangible.

You see a scarf. I see a dream.

Born from a dream my husband once had before our wedding, this piece carries an unexpected narrative:
a boat pulled by giant chickens and a bear, moving forward like an impossible procession.

As in every great adventure, there was a question of cost.
He wondered how much it would take to feed all the guests —
only to discover that the giant chickens were worth 4,000 euros.

Too much, he thought.

And yet, this is how dreams work.

They exaggerate.
They distort.
They reveal.

Concept

This scarf explores the fragile boundary between reality and imagination — where logic dissolves, and meaning emerges through images.

The composition reflects this dreamlike state:
forms drift, scale shifts, and narratives unfold without explanation.

It is not about understanding.
It is about entering.

The absurd becomes poetic.
The personal becomes universal.

Inspiration

Part of the Dreamscape Collection, this silk scarf draws from inner landscapes —
dreams, memories, and stories that exist between consciousness and folklore.

In this universe, animals carry meaning, journeys have no destination,
and value is no longer measured in money, but in emotion.

Artistic Vision

Stella Polare or Khulkar Yunusova is a French-Uzbek artist based near Paris.

Her work is built around the idea of vitaculture — the urgency of joy as a conscious and lived act.

Her practice connects:

– image and language
– individual experience and collective narratives
– Eastern and Western cultural references

Her work has been presented n institutions such as UNESCO, the Louvre, and Palais Jacques Cœur ,as well as in independent exhibition contexts.

Why a silk scarf

Within this practice, the scarf becomes a medium rather than an accessory.

It functions as:

– a surface of expression
– a mobile artwork
– a space where identity can shift

Historically associated with both adornment and constraint, the scarf carries layered meanings — from European codes of elegance to Central Asian textile traditions.

It also reflects on invisible gestures, including forms of labor and care that remain outside visibility.
